Schyler P. Raad, PhD

(they/them)

Schyler is a musician, composer, and educational psychologist who has lived on the Olympic Peninsula since relocating from Texas in 2022. Their creative practice integrates music, writing, performance, and community-based pedagogy. A classically trained bass trombonist and bass-baritone vocalist, they are pursuing voice training for gender euphoria. Schyler performs with regional ensembles and composes original works exploring wisdom and hope against the grain of dystopic claims. They are the founder of Rainy Day Work & Play and the FAMIWE initiative, and are active in Unitarian Universalist spiritual life, grounding their work in curiosity, healing, and communal thriving.
