Board Member Roles

Outreach Coordinator

Generate ideas for outreach and community engagement.

Plan and execute outreach to under-represented groups in the community, specifically BIPOC, LGBTQAI+, rural, and young artists.

Responsibilities may include:

  • attending cultural events

  • contacting local groups

  • documenting and evaluating outcomes

Volunteer Coordinator

Promote and guide volunteer engagement.

Recruit and organize volunteers to assist with the annual Studio Tour and related events, such as the Post-Tour Party and fundraising events.

Responsibilities may include:

  • recruiting volunteers and maintaining contact list

  • documenting volunteer work

  • serving as the primary point of contact for volunteers

Additional Details

All board members attend monthly board meetings where we:

  • Contribute ideas for the direction of the Tour

  • Jury in Studio Tour artists

  • Carry out the annual Studio Tour

  • Share a casual pot-luck meal!

Board positions are unpaid.

We contribute our skills and time to put on the annual Studio Tour and enrich the local arts community.

Bring your knowledge of visual arts, passion for community and collaborative mindset.

Learn from experienced artists and organizers, voice your ideas, and create opportunities for local artists.
